Final project for my Media Exploration class. We had to do an advertisement in the style of someone from before 1970, but not by straight copying. We had to add our own touches. I chose Gustav Klimt, and I chose to advertise pie.

She is holding a baby as well as a pie because I thought it would be funny. At first I was not going to put the baby in the final work, but my teacher said to do it because it made it more quirky. Then, during the crit, he asked me why I didn't just have a pie. BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME TO, THANK YOU SIR. Yes, you did say that. No, I am not crazy. RWARRRR

Mostly acrylic (gold paint is so awesome, thank you Donut!) with some collage (thank you BSF!) on the fabrics. 18"x24".
